So I’m sure everyone knows that in the french translation of Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Tom Riddle’s name had to be changed so that they could do the anagram - Je suis Voldemort rearranges into “Tom Elvis Jedusor”. But according to this wikipedia article, there are some other fantastic solutions translators found to include the anagram:
Greek: Anton Marvolo Hurt (Άντον Μαρβόλο Χέρτ -> “Άρχον Βόλντεμορτ”)
Icelandic: Trevor Delgome -> (Ég)Eg er Voldemort
Dutch: Marten Asmodom Vilijn -> Mijn naam is Voldemort
Swedish: Tom Gus Mervolo Dolder -> Ego sum Lord Voldemort (latin)
Slovenian: Mark Neelstein -> Lord Mrlakenstein (?????)
ah yes, the young Lord Voldemort… Mark Neelstein.
